Purebred Beef Show and Sale
The 2013 Sioux Empire Farm Show is proud to host purebred shows/sales for seven breeds of cattle. The breeds showing/selling at the 2013 Sioux Empire Farm Show include Angus, Charolais, Hereford, Limousin, Maine Anjou, Red Angus and Simmental. The champions of each of the breeds are eligible for the Supreme Row $12,000 purse sponsored by the Tri-State Neighbor, Wells Fargo Bank and Campbell Supply Co. The Supreme Champion bull and heifer will split the $12,000 purse with $3500 going to the consignor and $2500 going to the buyer. It is expected that nearly 300 head of cattle will be consigned to the shows/sales. The Purebred Shows/Sales take place Wednesday, Jan. 25 and Thursday, Jan. 26, with the animals on display in the barn until Supreme Row judging Friday morning.
